As a former caretaker, I have had the privilege of playing for dozens of people as they made their journey from this world. Music has been shown to sooth breathing, relieve pain and anxiety, and bring comfort to those who are transitioning and aid those surrounding them as well. And because I play by ear I have an innumerable amount of songs I can play. I would love to bring to this sacred space the ones that are important to your family.

Misc. Services
I have a passion for connecting people with God through music, and this always happens in worship. I have experience both leading worship on keys and joining other musicians with my viola under other leaders. I’ve led and played with many groups in churches big and small and would love to use my gifts to foster a connection between your group and God with worship through music.
I also have years of experience adding an elegant touch to songs across genres by adding the sound of strings to a wedding. Indoors, outdoors, large groups, and intimate ceremonies, all can become more elevated by the sweet sound of the viola.

Gift a Performance
Would you like to gift a performance to a loved one?
This could include hiring me to play for a loved one in a nursing home that may not have the funds to book a performance themselves, gifting a live performance for a birthday, or arranging a private session at someone's home. Not every facility or person has the budget for live music, but a generous friend or family member might be willing to make it happen.

“My mom loved music, she would sing with all of us all the time. Music brought so much joy to all our lives and still does. She loved to dance, especially when we were all together.
It surprised me with her dementia that she would remember the words to each and every song.
We first met Amanda where mom was staying at. Amanda would come and play her violin and sing, my mom loved it. Mom would sing and listen. It brought so much joy to her. Amanda would listen to my mom sing and then sing along with her.
While mom was in her final stages of dementia Amanda came in and played her violin. It was absolutely beautiful, it meant the world to us.
When mom passed away Amanda came to the funeral and played her violin. We could not thank Amanda enough for being there for our mom and our family.
Amanda was truly a blessing, and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts for bringing so much joy to our mother’s life.”
